ARCHIVED - Molina de Segura Tapas Trail open until September 20
The tapas route co-incides with local fiestas
The municipality of Molina de Segura holds its annual fiestas in September, with a broad programme of festive and religious acts between September 2 and 20.
This year there are obviously changes to the scheduled acts to take the Covid situation into consideration, but one event which remains sacrosanct is the annual tapas route which enables visitors to the municipality and residents to sample a range of selected tapas from participating eateries by purchasing a selected tapa and a quinto of beer for the sum of 2.50 euros, locating the eateries via a map provided to indicate the location of each participant.
In this edition no paper brochure or map will be offered due to the Covid risk; all the information related to #molinadetapas2021 can be found in the RUTAPPA application and in the social networks (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) Molina de Tapas.
Via this application participants can vote for the best tapa / dessert and cocktail of 2021, as well as participate in the raffles for the different prizes provided by the sponsor of the route, Estrella de Levante.
Participating establishments will compete for the distinctions of Best Tapa 2021, Best Cocktail 2021 and Best Dessert 2021. Customers will be able to choose and rate the winning tapa through the voting system established in the application.
For the vote to be valid, the customer must enter the code of the relevant dish that will be displayed in a visible place in each participating venue. The system will only allow one vote for each cover from the same telephone terminal. There will be a draw for prizes among participating customers and distinctions for the most valued venues through the application.
Above all, have fun and enjoy flushing out new places to eat as well as exploring the municipality.
