Following yesterday's coastal alerts, Andalucía faces another unsettled spell with widespread rain, mountain snow and strong coastal winds. Yellow warnings are active for gusts along the Mediterranean, while the Betic ranges could see snow above 1,100 metres. Expect a damp, blustery few days before conditions ease slightly by Sunday.

 

 

Cloudy skies dominate as light to moderate rain spreads from the Betic mountains across the region by afternoon, turning heavier along Atlantic slopes near Huelva and Cádiz. Snow falls above 1,100–1,200 metres. Overnight temperatures rise sharply in many areas, though light frost lingers in eastern highlands. Westerly winds strengthen to moderate or strong along the coast, with very strong gusts possible near Almería and higher eastern elevations.

 

 

Rain continues widely but stays lighter, patchy in the far east around Málaga while snow falls above 1,100–1,200 metres in Granada under yellow alert. Partly cloudy skies break through at times elsewhere. Daytime temperatures edge up slightly, though eastern mountains remain frosty overnight. Westerly winds blow light to moderate inland but pick up to strong along the coast, with very strong gusts forecast in the east under yellow alert.

 

 

Rain turns more persistent across the Betic Cordillera and near Seville, while other areas see lighter, scattered falls. Temperatures drop noticeably, especially along the Mediterranean coast and inland around Córdoba and Granada. The snow level lowers to 800–900 metres, and light to moderate frost forms in the eastern interior. Westerly winds stay brisk along the coast with very strong gusts possible in exposed eastern spots.

 

 

Rain lingers into Sunday, heaviest in the Betic ranges during the morning before clearing somewhat in the afternoon. Snow levels hover at 800–900 metres, rising later. Western areas like Jaén see a sharp rise in daytime temperatures, while the east holds steady. Light to moderate frost persists inland. Westerly winds remain strong along the coast, with very strong gusts still possible in the far east and Tarifa area.

 

 

A wet and windy end to the week across Andalucía, though brighter intervals late Sunday offer some relief from the mountain snow and coastal gales.
