Andalucía weekend weather forecast June 25-28: Cooler spell before heat returns inland
A brief dip in temperatures with some showers, then warming up again into the weekend
After the intense heat and widespread warnings earlier in the week, conditions begin to ease across Andalucía as we head into the weekend. Temperatures drop back to more comfortable levels for a time, and there is even the chance of a little rain in places, before the heat starts to build again by Saturday.Thursday June 25
Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday June 25A noticeable change sets in, with partly cloudy skies and the chance of scattered light rain or isolated thunderstorms, most likely early in the day and across central areas near Seville and Jaén. Low cloud may linger in the west around Huelva. Temperatures fall away across much of the interior, bringing a marked drop compared to recent days, though along the coast near Málaga values change very little. Granada remains one of the warmer spots at around 35°C. Winds are generally light, turning westerly in many areas, but strengthening later near the Strait.
Friday June 26
Andalucía weather forecast, Friday June 26Conditions settle again with plenty of sunshine and just a few patches of low cloud early on, mainly in western areas. Temperatures are fairly steady, rising slightly along the Atlantic side but little changed elsewhere. Westerly winds dominate, light inland but freshening along the coast. Around Cádiz and the Strait, including Tarifa, gusts may become strong at times.
Saturday June 27
Andalucía temperatures, Saturday June 27A warmer feel returns, with largely fine conditions and some developing cloud over inland areas later in the day. There is a small chance of isolated afternoon thunderstorms in the eastern interior. Temperatures climb again, with Córdoba joining Granada as one of the hottest spots, both reaching around 37°C. Winds remain light and variable, becoming westerly with moderate sea breezes along the Atlantic coast.
Sunday June 28
Andalucía temperatures, Sunday June 28A bright and mostly settled end to the weekend, with just some afternoon cloud over the eastern hills where a stray shower cannot be ruled out. Early mist or fog is possible along the coast near Almería. Temperatures hold steady or edge up slightly, with Cadiz enjoying a pleasant 28°C and comfortable conditions. Winds stay light, turning westerly as the day goes on.
The brief break from the heat does not last long, with temperatures already climbing again by the weekend, though without the extremes seen earlier in the week.

- Friday June 26: Min 16ºC; Max 35ºC
