Best theme parks and funfairs on the Costa Blanca
Thrill-seekers rejoice: there’s fun and excitement for all ages across the Costa Blanca
As a region that welcomes millions of tourists every year, Alicante's Costa Blanca has plenty of attractions of all kinds to keep visitors entertained during their stay. Theme parks and funfairs are always a favourite with children – and the big kids too!
From small fairgrounds to large parks, here are some of the best theme parks on the Costa Blanca, perfect for the whole family to enjoy.
1. Terra Mítica, Benidorm
Possibly the largest and most popular theme park on the Costa Blanca, Terra Mítica in Benidorm is a must-visit for any thrill-seeker. With an impressive selection of roller coasters and high rides, as well as smaller alternatives for younger kids, this park is sure to provide fun for all the family.
The park is divided into 5 different zones, each with a theme of a different country or part of the world, as well as a large selection of places to eat and drink.
Add to this a selection of shows and you know the whole family will be well entertained during any visit.
2. Festilandia, Benidorm
Located just a short walk from Benidorm's main seafront promenade, Festilandia is a children's amusement park with a small selection of fairground-type attractions.
While not as large as some of the other parks on this list, Festilandia is perfect for younger kids and offers a great selection of things to do, including a mini-golf course.
Next to the attractions there is also a nice café bar, allowing adults the opportunity to sit back while the children enjoy the park, or to indulge in a delicious ice cream afterwards.
3. Family Park, Calpe
Located just behind Cantal Roig beach and next to the Salines de Calp lake, Family Park is a great option for families with younger kids. The park offers a variety of fairground rides, amusements and inflatables suitable for different ages, as well as a giant Wipeout inflatable that's sure to be a hit with kids.
4. DinoPark, Algar
DinoPark is a dinosaur-themed adventure park set in beautiful countryside just a short distance inland from the coast. With life-size dinosaur models, a children's playground and a 3D cinema show, this park is perfect for people of all ages who love dinosaurs.
5. Pola Park, Santa Pola
Heading down to the Costa Blanca south, Pola Park is a flamingo-themed amusement park offering a good selection of rides for the entire family.
With a roller coaster, trampolines and fairground rides, as well as indoor soft play areas, there's plenty to do in this park.
6. Parque de Atracciones de Paseo, Torrevieja
Located between the town and the marina, the Torrevieja Fair is a popular funfair with a good selection of rides, as well as all the usual side games.
Some of the rides are quite large, and in the peak summer months, many of the most popular rides are doubled around the fair, meaning queue times are never too long.
As an added bonus, it’s open all year round (weekend evenings only during the winter months).
7. Mini Tivoli, Torre de la Horadada
Mini Tivoli is a small amusement park just for younger children, situated right at the southern end of the Costa Blanca. With a small selection of fairground rides and inflatables, this park is perfect for a fun evening out with the kids.
Whether you're a thrill-seeker or just looking for a fun day out with the family, the Costa Blanca has something for everyone. So why not start planning your next family holiday today and experience the best theme parks and funfairs that this beautiful region has to offer?
