Find out just how much it will rain in Andalusia this weekend: Weather forecast April 26-28
We’re in for an incredibly wet and stormy weekend, with more to come next week
Andalucía will be lucky enough to get significant rainfall this weekend to help stave off further the threat of drought. The recent rains have already led to all water restrictions being removed in the province of Seville, and it’s hoped that the additional rains this weekend will achieve the same for other parts of the community.
Friday April 26, however, will not bring a lot of rain. In fact, it will be pretty dry and sunny, at least in the southern half of the region, along the coast. The north and west will be somewhat cloudier, especially towards the afternoon, and some patches of rain are possible in rural Huelva and Cádiz.

On Saturday 27 is when the rain moves in, dousing almost every square inch of Andalucía from morning until the evening, when it will clear up. Even so, minimum temperatures at night will rise slightly while maximum temperatures remain largely unchanged. There will be “light to moderate westerly winds, with strong intervals and very strong gusts on the Almería coast,” according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

Sunday 28 brings more “cloudy skies, with scattered showers, more likely and intense during the afternoon, in the eastern sierras and the far west, where they may be accompanied by thunderstorms and hail”. Again, temperatures will be more or less the same as we have become used to and there will be strong westerly winds along the coast.

And that’s not all because the thunder, lightning and rain return for the beginning of next week, with widespread showers and storms forecast for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so far.
