Heavy rain and storms return mid-week: Spain weather forecast April 27-30
Despite the rain, daytime temperatures should remain mild in most parts of Spain this week

Weather outlook on Wednesday April 29
With the May bank holiday weekend just a few days again, Spain’s weather is playing a game of two halves at the beginning of the week, with mostly bright, sunny skies and rising temperatures in the south while the north is battered by rain. However, the field looks set to even out in the middle of the week, with widespread showers and storms on the cards.
Monday April 27

Much of northern Spain can expect overcast skies and showers accompanied by afternoon thunderstorms on Monday, while stable weather should prevail in central and southern Spain, along with the Balearic Islands.
Despite the rain, daytime temperatures should hit the mid to high-20s in most parts.
Tuesday April 28

An incoming low pressure system will result in more widespread rain and thunderstorms in the northwest, with heavy downpours also forecast in parts of Andalucía, where a yellow alert has been activated. It should remain dry in the rest of the south.
Daytime temperatures will fall by a degree or two in most regions but Tuesday night should be noticeably milder.
Wednesday April 29

Although there are no alerts in place, the weather will take a turn for the worse on Wednesday. Rain, overcast skies and isolated storms are forecast pretty much across the entire country, although central Spain is expected to bear the brunt.
Maximum temperatures will decrease almost everywhere, with a potentially significant drop along the Galician coast.
Thursday April 30

The forecast is still a bit uncertain but at the moment it’s looking like the weather will settle considerably on the last day of the month. There’s still a good chance of rain and storms inland, but the rest of the country should experience clearing skies by the afternoon.
Daytime temperatures are on the rise again, except for slight decreases in the far northeast.
