“La roca más antigua de Europa y la más moderna”
This is a chance to see two rocks. One is a Gneis Lewisense and the other a Teneguia: these are respectively the oldest and the youngest in Europe. The first comes from the Scottish island of Mull, and is over 1,150 million years old, while the second is only just over thirty years old, and dates from a volcanic eruption in Teneguía on the island of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
