January 15-17 Elite Golf Tour at New Sierra Golf Club, Murcia

Sign up to play at the first major Murcia golf tournament of 2026

This January 2026, Murcia’s New Sierra Golf Club in the municipality of Torre Pacheco, close to the town of Balsicas, is hosting a three-day golf tournament, the Elite Golf Tour.

Held from Thursday January 15 to Saturday 17, the competition promises “thrilling competition, friendly rivalry and unforgettable camaraderie,” according to the organisers.

New Sierra Golf is popular is a par-36 course with a length of more than 3,000 metres, landscaped with fine Bermuda grass across its wide fairways. It is a favourite among golfers in the Region, often cited as one of the best local courses to play.

The Elite Golf Tour will be played in a Stableford format for rounds 1 and 2, and then the final round will be in a Medal play format for those players who make the cut.

The prize purse is a very attractive €2,000!

Registration to play in the Elite Golf Tour competition is open to all golfers with a handicap of 28 or less, up to a maximum limit of 60 golfers, so be sure to register now to avoid disappointment.

Entry to the competition costs €165 per person, and includes all green fees for three rounds, as well as complimentary drinks and snacks on the final presentation day.
