EVENT CANCELLED
Live music from Spain, the Dominican Republic and Mexico at various venues in Cartagena
After the disruption of the Covid pandemic over the last couple of years the La Mar de Músicas international music festival returns to Cartagena in the early summer of 2022, with a series of 41 artists performing between July 15 and July 23 at various venues in the city. The featured nation at this year’s event is the Dominican Republic.
On Tuesday July 19 the schedule is as follows:
13.00: Mala Cotton (Spain) present their fresh sounds in English and Spanish at the Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena. Tickets 5 euros.
20.00: Riccie Oriach (Dominican Republic) is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter who seeks to represent the rich musical diversity of his home country. The free concert takes place in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
21.30: Muerdo (Spain) is a project created by the Murcia poet and singer Paskual Kantero, and tickets for the concert in the patio of the CIM building are on sale at 15 euros a piece.
23.00: Carla Morrison (Mexico) is famed for songs such as Déjenme Llorar and Disfruto, the first of which won her a Grammy Latino in 2010. She has since enjoyed sell-out tours of USA and Spain and is now presenting her new album El Renacimiento after a pause of 7 years. Tickets for the concert at the Auditorio 'Paco Martín' in Parque Torres are available at 25 euros.
