Football and basketball facilities next to the beach in Los Urrutias

The municipal sports facilities in Los Urrutias consist of a five-a-side football pitch, a basketball court and a football pitch on rough ground behind the Local Social on Calle Ramos Garratalá, just to the north of the marina, close to the long sandy beach of the town. The facilities go under the grand name of Polideportivo Municipal sports facilities in Los Urrutias Municipal Almirante Elizalde, but unfortunately this impressive name cannot hide the fact that they are at best functional in the services they offer!

There are no changing rooms or showers, and spectator facilities are limited to a single stone bench along one side of the five-a-side football pitch: the residents of Los Urrutias may be passionate about their sport, but those who participate actively at the municipal facilities are doing so in facilities which for some might leave a lot to be desired!
