The department of Culture from Orihuela’s Town Hall has organized a music festival, “Música en Primavera”,(music in the Spring) which will include 14 free entry concerts across the municipality of Orihuela starting from May 8 and continuing until June 20.
Several different local bands and musical organizations will perform at different locations, including the Playa Flamenca promenade (in Orihuela Costa), Teatro Circo Atanasio Díe Marín (in Orihuela), Auditorio de la Lonja (in Orihuela) and Auditorio de San Bartolomé (in San Bartolomé).
The festival, which will take place throughout the months of May and June, will offer an alternative weekend leisure activity and will also help the musical bands and organizations who have had a difficult year with the anti-covid restrictions.
The fourteen concerts will be held at 8 pm on Saturday’s and Sunday’s and all of them will be free to the public, who will be able to enter the venue until capacity is reached.
A representative from the department of Culture has also stated that another important event with local musicians is already being planned for the summer months.
