Murcia weather forecast, Wednesday June 12
After a large storm left hail and flooding in its wake in the north of Murcia this Saturday, more rain is forecast for the first half of this week. It will bring a welcome dousing for farmers, gardeners, the water reserves and for firefighters worried about the drying out of forests.
While the rain is a blessing in this sense, there are dangers associated with it. Once again, a large swathe of the Region is on yellow weather alert this Monday June 10 for the risk of storms that may be accompanied by hailstones and accumulated rainfall of up to 15mm per hour. The affected areas will be the northwest, centre and southwest, while the north around Jumilla and Yecla is on orange alert. The southeastern area around the Mar Menor remains free of weather warnings. Where they are active, the warnings will be in place from around midday until the end of the day.

Murcia weather warnings, Monday June 10
On Tuesday June 11, more alerts have been issued in all the same areas for more rain and storms from midday onwards, especially in the northern half. But essentially there will be rain in every part of the Region, including around Cartagena and the Mar Menor, for much of the day.

Murcia weather forecast, Tuesday June 11
Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 bring more rain on and off to the entire Region of Murcia, but the storms will gradually weaken in intensity. Over these few days, both minimum and maximum temperatures will drop by 3 or 4 degrees, but it will not be cold, and thankfully the windspeeds will, for the most part, not be too strong.
Looking as far ahead as Friday 14, it will be cloudy but dry, with no more rain forecast for over the weekend. The sun will come out properly as we head into Saturday and the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) is forecasting highs of 31ºC again in central parts of the Region and almost up to 30ºC on the coast.

Leak Proof, for all your roofing needs in the Costa Cálida and the Costa Blanca
Leak Proof is a British father and son business based in the southern Costa Blanca for over a decade which offers services for all roofing needs, not only in the province of Alicante but also throughout the Costa Cálida and the Region of Murcia.
All kinds of properties and roofs are catered for, whether they are old or new and whether the work required is on a complete roof or only on a specific area. Flat roofs are typical causes for concern regarding leaks, for example on extensions and garages, and the specialist knowledge and techniques used by Leak Proof are also applicable to fibreglass roofing, conservatories, covered passageways and even classic old “finca”-style properties with tiling issues.
30-year guarantees are supplied with fibreglass roofing (also known as GRP Roofing) and membrane roofing, a system for used for both buildings and tanks. The purpose of membrane roofing is to move water off the roof, and the membranes used are most commonly made of synthetic rubber, thermoplastic and modified bitumen.
Leak Proof guarantee that all of the membranes they employ are UV resistant and provide insulation against both hot and cold weather conditions, making them ideal for flat roofs and the floors of solariums, roof terraces and balconies.
In addition, they use a range of specialist waterproof paints for all interior and exterior work, and offer tiling and re-grouting services.
Insurance work and community projects on residential developments and urbanizations are undertaken, and full invoices are provided.
