STO Media launches new print newspaper, the Costa Weekly News
We are pleased to present our new publication, serving the Costa Blanca and with plans to extend south across the Spanish costas in future
The first edition of the paper will come out in early February
Media company Spain Today Online S.L is proud to announce the launch of a new English-language newspaper, the Costa Weekly News, which is being set up to fill a hole left by the departure of other printed papers along the southern and eastern coasts of Spain.
As the name suggests, there will be one edition of the Costa Weekly News per week and it will have an initial distribution area of coastal Alicante, Torrevieja, Orihuela Costa and the Costa Blanca down to Pilar de la Horadada. In time, the plan is to extend the reach of the paper across the Mar Menor down to Cartagena and as far as Mazarrón on the Costa Cálida.
It will cover topics that are relevant to the English-speaking community in this part of Spain, including current affairs, travel, lifestyle and other regular updates. It will also be a place for local businesses to be able to get the word out to potential customers.
The launch date for the Costa Weekly News is set for early February.
The team behind this new community paper is Spain Today Online S.L (STO), the media company behind Spanish News Today, Murcia Today, Alicante Today, TKO Radio, Home & Living Magazine and Indalo Guides.
In the last two years, under new management, STO has brought these different media outlets together under one umbrella to be able to reach as broad an audience as possible and provide useful, up-to-date information to the English-speaking community in the south and east of Spain, growing into one of the largest English-speaking media groups in all of Spain.
