Andalucía weekend weather forecast: Thursday March 6-Sunday March 9
More rain on the way with occasional storms and strong winds

Thursday March 6

Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday March 6
Thursday will start cloudy across most of Andalucía, with showers expected throughout the day. Rainfall could be persistent along the Mediterranean coast and in the Strait of Gibraltar, while the eastern provinces, including Almería and Granada, may see heavier downpours and thunderstorms later in the afternoon.
By the evening, skies will start to clear in western areas such as Huelva and Seville, but it will remain damp elsewhere. Temperatures will stay largely unchanged, though some areas in the east may experience a slight rise in the daytime highs. Winds will be moderate across most of the region, with a north-easterly breeze along the Almería coast and more variable winds elsewhere, favouring a southerly direction in Atlantic-facing areas.
Friday March 7

Andalucía weather forecast, March 7
Cloud cover will remain extensive on Friday, with periods of light to moderate rain throughout the day. The wettest conditions will be in western Andalucía, including Cádiz and Huelva, where rain will intensify in the afternoon and could become locally heavy by nightfall. Some thunderstorms are also possible in these areas.
Temperatures will either hold steady or dip slightly, particularly in inland regions like Córdoba and Jaén. Winds will be light and variable in eastern parts, while a southerly breeze will strengthen in the west later in the day, bringing some stronger gusts along the Atlantic coastline.
Saturday March 8

Andalucía weather forecast, Saturday March 8
Saturday looks set to be another wet day, with widespread rainfall across Andalucía. Showers will be frequent and could turn heavy at times, particularly in coastal areas such as Málaga, Motril and Almería. Thunderstorms are also a possibility.
Temperatures will drop slightly overall, though eastern parts of the region may not see much change. Winds will pick up, especially along the Atlantic coast, where strong south-westerly gusts could exceed 60km/h at times. Inland areas will also experience breezy conditions, particularly in higher-altitude locations.
Sunday March 9

Andalucía weather forecast, Sunday March 9
Sunday will bring no major improvement, with continued cloudy skies and further showers. Rainfall will be heaviest along the coast, particularly in Cádiz, Málaga and Almería, where storms could develop. However, some drier intervals are expected further inland, especially in Seville and Córdoba.
Temperatures will drop slightly in eastern areas, while the west remains fairly stable. Winds will remain moderate to strong, particularly on the coasts, with gusty conditions expected in exposed areas.
Looking ahead, there’s no immediate sign of a prolonged dry spell, so those in flood-prone areas should remain cautious. Keep an eye on local forecasts for updates on any worsening conditions.
